Well this is our latest attempt at growing a garden. It seems that every year we debate on whether or not we should try. Last year the kids were all excited to help and then the weeds took over and we didn't get to many vegetables out of it. IT WAS A BIG MESS! So this year the time came around again to start thinking about it and we decided to fix it up a little bit so the weeds wouldn't take over. Eric laid down thick plastic to go over the dirt so the weeds wouldn't get through. Then we went and bought bark to go around our boxes. so far so good! we planted our vegetables and watered them and thought every thing was great. Yesterday we went out to water and one of the cucumber plants was wilted over. I was so mad! I guess we just aren't the best gardeners! 0h well. The kids think it's great so I guess it's ok. Let's just hope we get a few vegetables out of it!

Keep it up. Just keep on watering and give it lots of love. It is the best feeling to be eating the food you worked so hard to get. That's why I love it!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for your garden. We planted ours a little too early this year and they all died...we usually do pretty good...oh well, no weed pulling for this pregnant girl!
