Portland

Brinley was so excited to go to Portland Oregon with her cheer team.  They were competeing in a National cheerleading competition.  Brinley was so excited to be able to fly on a plane!  She hasn't been on an airplane since she was a baby!  She especially had fun because her cousin Bridget and family were with us.  This time it was just mom and Brinley.  Dad was home with the other girls.  I was happy to travel with Kristi's family.  I was a little nervous because I'm used to Eric traveling with me!  We stayed right in Down Town Portland.  It was fun eating out and exploring the city!  We spent a afternoon hiking to some of the waterfalls.  It was so pretty!  Brinley did awesome in her competition.  They were against a lot of really hard teams but they did great.  It was also fun cheering on Jayci.  Her team won 1st place.  We were so happy for her.  It was fun having Jayci's boyfriend Austin with us in portland.  Brinley and Bridget loved bugging him!  He was such a great sport!  

The Sound of Music

Brinley was so excited to be in the school play the Sound of Music.  She was a nun and an Austrian party goer.  She practiced twice a week for a few months.  She loved learning all of the songs and it rubbed off on her sisters too because they were all singing it too!  Addie loves singing the Do a Deer song!  Brinley did a fabulous job and had to perform in three performances!  It was a really impressive school play!

ready for the tooth fairy to come!

It has taken Hailey a long time to lose her teeth!  She was so excited when her top tooth was loose and even more excited when it came out and the tooth fairy came!

Over the Hill!

 We had lots of fun this year reminding Dad that he was turning 40!  We made him a poster with 40 reasons we love him, we got him some over the Hill balloons, and some over the hill pills to take when he needs them!  Addie had fun opening his presents!  He was a trooper and spent the day at a cheerleading competition.  We were so tired after the comp that we just got some take out Chinese food and relaxed at home.  On Sunday we had a little surprise party for him and invited all of the family over.  Sadie and I made him a cute cake and I think he was surprised!  He might have been a little suspicious when the girls started cleaning up on a sunday!  It turned out to be a great birthday!

Moving!

We also moved into our new home on Jan 1st.  It was a crazy time to move but luckily we had a really mild winter great weather to move.  We had lots of help from both sides of the family and had almost everything moved in by the afternoon.  My sisters were so awesome and helped me with Addie and also helped me get organized.  We saved way to much stuff and made a few trips to the DI!  Kristi came over one night and surprised us with some decorations for our family room! It was so fun setting everything out! She has also helped me decorate the girl's rooms!  So fun.  We absolutely love everything about our home and feel like it is just the right place for our family.  

We have also just reached competition season for cheerleading.  Sadie made some cute signs for her sisters and her and Addie were such great sisters cheering them on.  We have had a cheer comp almost every weekend since Jan!  The girls love it!

January fun!

We rang in the new year celebrating at Revolution Athletics with the family.  We had fun playing games, eating pizza, and of course tumbling!  We also had fun playing with our friends Kennadee and Bennett Pearson.  Brinley and Hailey had been watching cupcake wars on netflix for a while and really wanted to have the cousins over for some cupcake wars!  Brinley had this all planned out and boy did they have fun!  It was a fun afternoon of making, decorating, and judging the cupcakes!  They had a lot of fun and it think felt like they were on cupcake wars!
