Happy Birthday Addie

We took Addie to the Zoo for her birthday!  It was a beautiful sunny day and she loved seeing the animals.  Her favorite was the baby elephant.  Hailey got to go to the Zoo twice in one day because it was her kindergarten field trip that day.  She had fun showing us where everything was!

Addie had fun opening her presents.  Her favorite one was a Fur real dog!  She went crazy when the dog started barking and walking towards her.  She loves her dog and is always hugging it and giving it kisses.  She is now saying Dog!  I thought it might wear off a little but not so much!  She loves her dog and LOVES to play with it!  She got a few other things that were not quite as exciting! Addie loved her birthday balloons and She new there was something up with them.  She wanted to hold them and play with them.  She loved her cake and was a little nervous with her candle. Brinley and Hailey helped her blow it out.  Then she went at it and completely smashed the cake.  Sweet Hailey helped clean up her mess!

Camp out!

Sadie is so excited to go to her first girl's camp.  She asked Dad if he would set the tent up so they could practice before girls camp.  She thought he was going to say no! but he of course said yes!  They were so excited.  They all helped him set it up but Sadie was the only one who helped the whole time.  Brinley and Hailey got a little distracted on the trampoline!  Once it was set up they got their sleeping bags, blankets, and ipads so they could watch movies!  They had a really fun night and I think Sadie might survive her first girls camp!

Memorial Day!

Memorial Day is always a time to remember those we love who have passed on.  It always falls around my Dad's Birthday.  This year we took a Birthday balloon over and tied it to some flowers.  Grandpa would have been 70 this year.  We miss him so much and are grateful we have this beautiful place to go and visit.  I'm amazed at how much my girls remember of Grandpa.  They were pretty little when he died but I'm grateful they have some memories of him.  It is also nice because Grandma Seljaas' grave is also in the same cemetery.  We love to go visit her's also.  We feel close to her even though we haven't met her.  She was also an amazing woman.  (my camera on my phone froze so the picture is on Eric's.  I'll add it soon.)

Breakfast in Bed!

The girls love the weekends when they get to sleep out in the family room together.  They each have a special couch and they love to watch movies and play the Wii together.  It has become a little tradition! We decided to get up early one sunday and bring them breakfast in bed.  They loved it!  I think they could get used to this!

Bum Scooter!

Addie has finally figured out how to scoot and move around!  She isn't crawling but she scoot's everywhere.  For a long time she would just sit and turn in circles but now she bum scoots all over the house!  It was funny to watch her go under the kitchen chairs.  She is now exploring lots of new things and is loving moving around a little bit.  It is nice for me because she is not super fast so I'm not having to chase her around everywhere!

Mother's Day!

I had the best mother's day ever!  I felt so loved by my cute girls and Husband!  They made me a super yummy breakfast in bed and brought me cute cards they had all made with a vase full of beautiful flowers from Dad. They spoiled me with lot's of presents and Dad surprised me with a get away trip to see a Tuacahn play!  I can't wait!  The best present ever was no fighting all day!  After church we went to Grandma's to celebrate Mother's Day and all of the May Birthday's.  It was a fun day and I feel so blessed to be a Mother to my 4 beautiful girls!
