Spring Break

We started spring break up at my sisters cabin in BearLake. We went up for conference weekend with Eric's sisters and their families. We had such a great time with everyone. Eric and the guys went to the Paris Tabernacle in Paris Idaho for the priesthood session. It is a historic building that my ancestors help build. They took a little tour after the priesthood session was over to check it all out. While they were at conference the girls had fun making crafts and playing games. Even though it was a little cold we still were able to go on a four wheeler ride. Easter is always eventful and the kids were excited for the easter bunny to come. It was great to spend easter with cousins and family.
The rest of the week we had fun at Boondocks, The Childrens museum, and dog sitting Izzy.
We are not much of a dog family but we make an exception with Izzy. We just love this dog. The girls had so much fun taking care of her. I really didn't do much! She is such a loveable dog and loves to curl up by you! At the end of the week another cousin wanted to take care of her and my girls had a hard time letting her go! It's a good thing we can go visit her anytime!
Well thats about it for our spring break. I hope we can make it through the next couple of months of school. I think the kids are definitely ready for summer!!

Easter Fun

Over the weekend we had a little Easter Fun! The girls always love to color easter eggs and had fun coloring and painting the eggs. They turned out cute. Now we are excited to eat them in egg salad sandwiches. Me and Hailey were out running errands and she was excited to see the Easter Bunny at one of the stores! She liked him but would not sit on his lap! Of course I forgot my camera but she was kind of cute with him. She talked about the Easter bunny all day. Sunday we got the girls dressed in their Easter dresses since conference is on Easter. We decided to go out and try and take a few pictures. Hailey wasn't feeling great and was really ornery. We were lucky to get a few smiles out of her. The girls looked cute with their new flower headbands that we had fun making together. After church we headed up to my Mom's for her Easter Dinner and Egg hunt. The girls were so excited and could hardly wait to get up there. They are always excited to find the egg with their name on it since grandma always puts a special surprise in it! We had a fun evening with family and cousins and am grateful for the friendship and memories we share together.

Lucky the Leprechaun

Brinley and Hailey were surprised when they woke up with a note from Lucky the Leprechaun
sending them on a treasure hunt to find their pot of gold! Sadie was even a little excited. After a hunt around the house they found their pot of gold and were very happy. They even opened the fridge up to find he had left green milk too! Brin was so excited she carried the milk all over the house. Sadie was in charge of Cereal in the morning and was sure to put two green crunch berries in everyones bowl of golden grams. We ended the day off with green toast and eggs for dinner. We hope that Lucky the Leprechaun will bring a little luck to the Seljaas Family this year!

Happy Birthday Hailey

I can't believe that my baby just turned 3 years old. Time goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital! Hailey is such a sweet heart. We love her soooo much. She brings so much joy to our family. She loves to follow her sisters and do everything they do! Hailey loves to snuggle and give me kisses on my cheek. One of my favorite times of the day is when it is just me and Hailey at home while the other girls are at school and we can just snuggle and hang out together. She always brings a smile to my face. Somehow she knows when I am having a hard day she is constantly coming up to me to give me a hug and tell me she loves me! I feel so blessed to have her in our family.
Hailey wanted to go swimming at the rec center for her birthday party. We invited the cousins to come along. We had such a great time. She had so much fun we had a hard time getting her out of the pool. Her cute little cheeks were purple from staying in the water so long! After swimming we found a table and ate her Tinkerbell birthday cake! The next day we celebrated All of the March family birthdays up at Grandma Alldredge's house. Brooke and Lori made the cutest cake out of rolled fondant! Brady and Hailey were excited to wear party hats and blow out the candles. Hailey had so many presents she didn't know what to do!! She had such a great day. I think we are all partied out! Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun birthday.

Hailey had a hard time figuring out how many fingers to hold up! She finally figured it out

We made it through!

Well the past few months have been filled with lots of cheerleading. Sadie had 4 competitions and did such a great job. The first competition was really scary and she was really nervous. By the 4th competition she was having lots of fun and gained so much confidence. It was so fun to watch her come out of her shy shell and shine! We are so proud of her and all that she has learned. She has learned a few life lessons through this, that winning and being first isn't what is always meant to be. She learned that it doesn't matter what place you take as long as you work hard, do your best and have fun! She was a little disappointed with second place in her last comp. but she was really happy with how they performed. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of the season and are excited for life to calm down a little! Way to go Sadie!!!

Valentine Parties!

The girls have been so excited for valentines day to get here. On Friday they celebrated at school and were so excited to make and take their valentine boxes. I was able to go and help Sadie's class with their party. They made a rose out of hershey kisses, a rice crispy treat sucker, and played bingo. They also loved passing out valentines to each other. They all came home excited about their day. Hailey wanted to be apart of the action so we made her a box too! I got ambitious and decided to try some valentine hairstyles. They worked ok but I think I need a lot of practice. Oh well! It was good enough for who it was for! And of course what would valentines be without frosting sugar cookies!
